Brilinta is an antiplatelet medication which keeps your blood flowing smoothly by preventing the platelets in your blood from sticking together to form blood clots. Brilinta contains ticagrelor and is usually used with low-dose aspirin following a heart attack or angina to lower the risk of serious heart problems, stroke or death.
